Im with you on that, nobody invented it. maybe somebody made it better or looks better than others at a certain move like the shoulder roll which is the move he uses.

I think what they mean by stealing a fighter's style is when Fighter a has been fighting a certain way for the longest and all the sudden he see's fighter b and his style and he tries to use to it based on the fact that fighter b uses it so effectively.
