From 2007 - 2010, Pac was always been the underdog, against bigger fighters

Manny wants to be top 5 ATG....he needs to take a fight like this. I'm a huge Pac fan and I want to see this. Manny could very well win this and I'm not buying this "Martinez kills him" b.s. Dude didn't even destroy Cintron and Manny is a way better fighter than him. Now I'm favoring Martinez but I wouldn't count Manny out in this one.

He was able to take punches from Cotto, Margo and not from Martinez. Pac would always be the underdog once he challenges bigger opponents coming from an impressive win. Until your proven wrong.

I think it happens but just a year from now. I think Manny dominates his next opponent, goes for Floyd (atleast tries to make the fight happen) and then Martinez.

If he beats Mosley and then Floyd.....who else is there left for him? Martinez is the only person left that would give Manny a competive fight.

Martinez would be better than overrated Berto. Mayweather would be the crowning if he wins, but i doubt that the fight will happen.

Weight difference between the two. Martinez is fast, moves a lot and a boxer puncher type.

Pacquiao could die in that ring Martinez is actually a full blown MW who could go up to fight the super 6...

So that makes him the biggest guy he would have faced..

                But unlike Margarito/Clottey..

The guy has excellent skills.. is a south paw but more importantly has good handspeed! and while i give props to Pac for his recent run that is something the big guys he has been facing sadly lack..

Yes because they are ***in slow..

Lets not forget Marquez/Morales busted Pac badly at times far worse then Clottey/Margo/Cotto did.. why? because he could see the punches of the latter 3. I didn't notice Pacs speed difference vs Morales/Marquez.. sure it was there but not nearly so evident. Martinez has the size but also speed which Cotto/Clottey and co lack

Pac would be biting off a little more than he can chew if he fights Martinez.

I've heard all the doubters everytime Pac moved up, but this time I believe them. A great fighter can only move so much before he runs into somebody who is simply too big.

I don't think Pac will be totally blown away by Martinez, but I can't see him winning this fight.

like to see it too. let's see if pac can pull it off, darting in and out, killing by speed and multiple punches instead by single punch. IF martinez catch him, will pac be able to take the punch of martinez?
