This "Lucky Punch" Bull***** Needs To Go

This is how I know certain posters know ***** about boxing or at least what they're watching. From the beginning of the fight, Martinez was catching Williams with counter hooks and straights with both hands. I'm not saying he was dominating Williams. I gave Williams the first round, but the fact is, the shots Martinez were landing methodical.

The reason it may look like Sergio is throwing randomly is because he turns his head after he throws a punch to avoid a direct counter. He ALWAYS does that, but his accuracy is legit. He knocked Williams down in the first fight with a counter right that he was landing before that happened and for the rest of the fight.

Stop being ignorant and bitter. Learn to see and understand. The same dudes that are saying Martinez got lucky won't say that Williams got lucky in the Quintana rematch.

Green K for ya. Martinez said in the interview right after that he'd practiced that shot to death, there was no luck to it.

I'm one of the people that believes that there are no lucky punches in boxing.

Kind of reminds me of the Donaire vs Vic fight where a lot of people were calling that a lucky punch also. However, Donaire was landing that punch all night. Same with Martinez who landed that left about 3 times in the 2nd round alone (and that was only about a minute long).

He was telegraphing that same over hand punch the whole duration of the fight. It was just a matter of time before Williams got caught with a nuke like that.

Some need to realize Williams may be able to make weight but can't handle that high of power. He was rocked in the first fight and was able to adjust and keep Martinez second guessing himself. This time Martinez felt his over hand left was connecting so he was loading up on it big time.

Before he knocked out Williams, I think he landed it like two or three more times seconds before Williams went to sleep.

Williams' training wasn't enough in countering those wild punches!

It was only lucky to those who are Paul stans.

Everyone else knows, those who train to throw and land punches for a living,

don't throw or land lucky punches.

How did you give the first round to Williams, Martinez was landing clean shots to his jaws throughout it??

                    Agreed.
Either that or Martinez got repeatedly lucky throughout the two rounds and is the luckiest man alive to be hitting the same lucky punch repeatedly.
