    According to WBC silver middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., Top Rank's CEO, Bob Arum, promised him a March 2011 showdown with WBA junior middleweight champion Miguel Cotto. Chavez tells BoxingScene.com that he's 100% on board with the fight. Chavez doesn't care about the venue. He's open to fighting Cotto in New York's Yankee Stadium.

          I like how Arum alway promise his fighters fight with their stablemates in exchange for longer contracts..Genius, But Chavez should be ready to fight Cotto in another fight or two.

                      Yup agree most people think he is total thrash but he has decent not good speed has power and is a good combination puncher and can only improve with roach and ariza to train him. Plus he has the size advantage and youth he will be a hard fight for cotto especially after the beatings he took from
                      Margarito and manny. So much for him being scared of cotto though

                          that's right, Arum promised Jr a Cotto fight, but not in March 2011. Arum knows Cotto is gonna spark Jr's lights out at this point. Arum won't let that happen, and pls Jr don't get angry if Arum is just going to dangle this fight for the next two year, he's only trying to protect you from harm.
