Manny Pacquiao Should Pull A Sugar Ray Leonard

Offer a fight at a maximum of 154 and put his WBC LMW championship up while Sergio puts his WBC/Ring MW championship at stake.

Seems like a great compromise to me, and it has a precedent.

Just because it has been done by a great fighter, doesn't make it a great thing to do. Fighting for a middleweight title at 154lbs is weak. And there is no compromise since a 154 fight should be for a 154 title anyway.

Leonard's titles wasnt even fought at 168.

The Catch weight was 167 i believe.

167 for Titles at 168 and 175 yeah and we still love Ray

Looks like someone got some ideas from my thread

“If Manny’s willing to defend his WBC super welterweight title, I would come down to 154 pounds to challenge him for it as well as allow him to challenge me for my WBC middleweight title. It would be the opportunity of a lifetime."
