      martinez will win. wifebeater has trouble w/ southpaws. martinez will have around a 10 lbs weight advantage. wifebeater can't hurt martinez or hit him with anything to discourage him. if wifebeater goes into defense mode, martinez will outwork him. wifebeater isn't strong enough to outmuscle sergio like he did to mosley.

      i don't see wifebeater taking this fight.

          A very hard fight for both fighters,but I have Martinez winning this fight..Martinez can fight going back and coming forward,he would win too many rds with his style..I think this is a fight that May could win but he would have to dig very deep to win it..My bet would be Martinez wins in a great boxing chess match...

            As long as its 154 or above, I'm definitely taking Martinez, but the weight would determine the competitiveness and Mayweather's chance of winning.

            At 154, Mayweather has a damn good shot I think. Martinez boxes, and it is extremely hard to outbox Floyd Mayweather. Floyd coming in light wouldn't hurt him too much if Martinez is weighing in at 154, and Sergio apparently has problems coming in at 154 as well.

            At 160, Floyd has little chance, but would be competitive. Sergio would be in top physical shape and the size advantage really comes into play, and Floyd would probably have to come in heavier than he is comfortable unless he wanted to have a 20+ pound weight disadvantage. Again, Sergio's style would mean Floyd has a chance, but not a very good one.

              It would be a tactical fight. Mayweather is safety first, defensive, good handspeed, pot shotter not a volume puncher or slow fighter like Pavlik. This would be Mayweather's fight but with Martinez' habit of starting off strong then taking mid rounds off, I'll have Mayweather by decision if I was betting real money on it.

                Floyd wins by close decision. I think he controls the distance and outboxes Martinez. It would be close, but I favor Floyd.

                    154 = tossup.

                    154+ = favour Sergio, but prob still a tossup.
