You couldn't say that about Cotto or Margarito because Floyd had already declined to fight them. And there is no Pac-Mosley fight. At least not yet.

If Pacquiao does sign to fight Mosley I will start to question his selection of opponents. This would be an ordinary fight.

manny fought hatton 2 years after hatton lost to mayweather.. and a year after manny moving up from featherweight, anyone who thinks that at that point he was aiming for "floyds leftovers" is a nutcase who thinks everyone in boxing in every division is planning their careers around floyd

pacquaio-mosely is the biggest "name value" fight in a division all about money and much of the fault is with floyd:

1 floyd ducked mosley for eons and in fighting mosley so recently, and surviving a near KO, its pretty obvious why mannys people would want manny to make a showcase out of the same mosley. I guess this is where you could create the leftovers theory if you saw it that way.

2 (and this is the most important) pacquaio would be fighting floyd himself if floyd was willing, floyd is ultimately the reason manny is having to choose between guys like berto, mosley, or dropping back down to his normal weights of 135/140
