wouldn't you be? imo, hopkin's has a legit argument. and from what it seems, the organization agrees.
shows how much ppl stand behind they're fighters these days. ppl seem to switch as soon as their fighter loses.
personally, i don't really have judgement either way. but i would love to see the rematch.Comment

No I wouldn't be, if I was Bitchkins I would've taken the loss like a man & worry about the rematch. Bitchkins knows he lost the fight, just don't believe what he says. This is the same guy that said he didn't lose the fight against Roy Jones, but after he lost to Taylor he changed his mine about the Jones fight, because he wanted Jones to be on his side. Most people think Taylor won the fight, just check the ESPN polls. This is after the brainwashing from Bitchkins.Originally posted by jwouldn't you be? imo, hopkin's has a legit argument. and from what it seems, the organization agrees.

yah dont mention them in the same breath. i mean did hopkins lose to a guy with one eye coming off a retirement, fighting his first fight ever at middleweight then after losing run away to italy?
i thought the ref was ok, he didnt call anything that wasnt a foul. he gave a double warning to both guys meaning the next person to throw behind the head was getting a point deducted, and thats exactly what he did. dont have a problem with a ref doing their jobComment

First of all Hagler won the fight against Sugar Ray, most people think he won the fight against Ray. You are talking about Sugar Ray Leonard a legend & one of the greatest boxers of all time. Bitchkins fought bunch of bums & that's it, so do not compare Bitchkins to Hagler. If you agreed that this was a good Ref, then how many point you think he would've taken away from Bitchkins in the Taylor fight, if he was the Ref, let me guess like 20 points. Carlos Monzon ducked Hagler for 3 years.Originally posted by Xecutioneryah dont mention them in the same breath. i mean did hopkins lose to a guy with one eye coming off a retirement, fighting his first fight ever at middleweight then after losing run away to italy?

former welterweight, retired, first fight at middle, one eye, whooped hagler. whatever you think about the fight the fact that it was THAT close shows just how great sugar ray was and how overrated hagler was.
dont even mention hagler with monzon. the guy lost his best weapon the right hand after getting shot in the shoulder and still dominated. he didnt lose to any blown up welters. he wouldve destroyed a middleweight ray and any version of hagler. monzon is the second greatest middleweight ever, hagler is somewhere else in the distanceComment

That shows how much you know about boxing, Hagler was always underrated, it was Sugar Ray that was overrated. That was an old Hagler & he still beat Sugar Ray. Sugar Ray waited for Hagler to get slow & old. He ducked Hagler for 5 years. But he still couldn't beat up a washed up Hagler. You still didn't answer my question about the Ref, if he was the Ref in the Bitchkins fight against Taylor, how many points you think he would've taken away from Bitchkins, my guess is 20. He took 2 points away from Soto, I think Bitchkins was 10 times more dirtier then Soto, in the Taylor fight. Monzons is the most overrated middleweight of all time, he lost his last 2 fights & got 2 gift decisions. Hagler would've killed Monzon any day. Everyone knows that Monzon ducked Hagler in his last 3 years.Originally posted by Xecutionerformer welterweight, retired, first fight at middle, one eye, whooped hagler. whatever you think about the fight the fact that it was THAT close shows just how great sugar ray was and how overrated hagler was.Last edited by Parodius; 08-21-2005, 01:23 AM.Comment

If anyone thinks that Bitchkins belongs in the same class as Hagler. Then that person doesn't know **** about boxing & should stop watching boxing forever.Originally posted by memorexanybody who thinks that hopkins doesnt belong in the same ring as hagler is crazy!!Comment

You really need to quit calling him Bitchkins. It's Bitchnard. Doesn't that roll more easily off the tounge?Originally posted by ParodiusYou have to agree he's the biggest crybaby ***** boxer in boxing today. The guy never stops bitching about the fight.
I had a lot of respect for Hopkins coming into the fight, even after he rode his bike to victory against Eastman in the most boring fight I have ever seen a future legend in.
He rode his bike for 8 rounds against Taylor and expected to win again. I had it 7-5 Taylor, but wouldn't have screamed at a draw. He bitches about the 12th round on Roth's card, but says nothing about how Roth had it 4-4 after 8, when he had lost at least 6 of those rounds. Not even the most diehard Bitchnard fan can possibly think he split the first 8 rds.Comment
