I don't see any big fights for Sergio at MW, unification fights with Pirov, Stum, or Sylvester won't do much, the guy has worked hard and deserves a big payday. If we rule out both Pac & May, there are no big names out there, and Lou Dibella has said he won't put him up to SMW yet. Also Bute will fight in March, so he is not an immediate option, unless Martinez wants to blow up fast.

The only big name is Saul Alvarez at 154, but no real title will be at stake there, and he couldn't come to terms with Alfred Angulo. . Perhaps a talented middleweight like Hasan N'dam N'Jam (25-0 17 KO's) but he is not known outside of France of Cameroon.

I don't really want to see him in a mega fight because fighters who do that get huge egos fast and demand more and more money every time. I'd like to see him fight, get a good payday, but clear out the middleweight division. The middleweight division is becoming interesting again and it has a real champ.

154 isn't as interesting as people say it is. It's just the great 147 competition, who moved up and don't look nearly as good as they did, plus a couple of others who are on the verge of middleweight anyway.

I'd like to see Martinez vs Sturm next, but I'd settle for something like Martinez vs Chavez Jr. or Martinez vs Angulo.

I think you make sense with the Chavez and Angulo picks, if no megafight with Pacquiao or Mayweather can be done. Due to name recognition, Chavez fighting for a MW title might be a decent payday as a third choice after Pac and May.

Martinez-Sturm will never happen. Too much beauty for one boxing ring.

            lmao

            that's what i've been saying.

but on a serious note, i wouldn't mind seeing this fight.

i really want Martinez to either clear out the division, or move up to 168.

no need to go fight the 154 pounders.

not many superfights available for s-mart.

only ones available are wifbeater, cotto, marg, and a pwill rubbermatch.

everyone else doesn't have the big name recognition.
