Would Floyd get knocked out if he abandoned his "play it safe" strategy?

Why did Floyd change his fighting style?Early in his career he didnt have the same fighting style he does now.

Well his chin isn't particularly great so sure, if he started getting careless he'd have way more of a chance of being KOed.

Didn't he abandoned his 'play it safe' style after Mosley got him with 2 rights and all that did was make it a one sided fight? Why would anyone want Floyd to open up? His counterpunching and handspeed spells disaster for brawlers if they wanna trade with him.

Plus what makes Floyd so great is that he is smart enough in the first place to play it safe. Not every fighter has the ability to play it safe. I can't even play it safe in sparring, let alone a world class boxing fight. I am forced to fight. That's why i'm a Floyd fan, because his style is very hard to duplicate and use it as successful as him. You can only copy that style for so long until you make a mistake, Floyd doesn't make mistakes. He mastered that defensive, play it safe style.

Who wants to take punishment in such a brutal sport seriously?

Floyd has spoken about not wanting to be a vegetable when it's all said and done.

Imagine Floyd leaning with his head forward before even throwing a punch..
