Martinez easily won the first round with landing harder punches in the exchanges, especially when he abused Williams against the ropes.

I'm fearful for the opposing corner when Dan Goosen is around.. Hes one of theeee shadiest guys in boxing as evidenced by any Andre Ward fight in Oakland.

Also, how in the hell does the MW Champ make LESS money than the challenger?

Williams throws a lot of punches and many judges seem to like that no matter if he lands or not.

i had williams winning the first round he came out very aggressive (maybe a little too much lol) and seemed to be making Martinez slightly uncomfortable
