But if you actually rewatch those two fights, you would see that those guys tried to beat Floyd at his own game by fighting him at a slow pace, but also was capable to timed some of his punches as well. If they were both orthodox, he would've adjusted faster. I truly think that Sergio can beat Floyd. He's not only a southpaw, but he would be comfortable to fight at Floyd's slow pace(Not many of Floyd's past opponents were). He's fundamentally disciplined enough to counter Floyd with his own punches. Although, Manny is a southpaw, and can counter-punchers, but he's not in Martinez's level in terms of counter-punches, fighting at slower pace, ect.

No. It depend on how wide his opponent's punches are. He has always been capable of throwing and landing quick sneaky right and left hooks directly at his opponent/s chins. It doesn't matter how strong your chin is, once you get hit with many sneaky hard punches, you'll definitely get KO or weaken enough to lose. It's all about timing it and landing it on the right spot.
