You re-fight a left handed counter puncher who clocked you plenty of times the first time, and you go fight the same way again???? And this time you got embarrassed. Most of us dont understand why he fight so little and has been fighting that way for so long. Should he start looking elsewhere
yes, he should start shopping for a new trainer and demote his current trainer or give him one more fight so that he gets a retirement egg, then dump him.

his trainer sux ass. they didn't improve pwill's defense at all.

Have you seen Caballero's shoulder roll? He towers over everybody from 122-130 like Paul does from 147-160. He looked funny as hell doing it, but it seemed to be effective.

Lol it is effective. Paul may be able to pull it off. But in order to use the shoulder roll, you cant just be worried about throwing punches the whole damn time

To soon to tell..But he needs to keep them hands up,develop a game plan where he can still be aggressive while having some kind of defense..If he can't make that game plan we should see in Paul's next fight..If there's no change then yes he should make a change...

paul will never get rid of peterson. if you listen to his interviews he has far too much respect for him. i think paul style and tendencies are too ingrained to break now anyway. at this point its all about opponent selection

The way Paul fights works for him. I mean, I would have had him fighting tall if I was his trainer, but hey, the guy is a successful fighter.

I think it is more he didn't respect Martinez's power enough. He still could have matched it with him coming forward, just being more careful and having more method in his brawling, not walking in open to the big left hands.
