i dont think pavlik ducked anyone, his hand looked like a volcano, he had an antibiotic resistant staph strain, his doctor said he almost died in the hospital (a real doctor who the media asked, not doctor shaw hi), i think he genuinely has fallen apart from health problems (not to take anything away from martinez win, where pavlik looked much better than vs hopkins)

whether hes just unlucky or the rumors that hes a hardcore alcoholic destroying his career and immune system are true i dont know

and i think sergio would have broken through either way. Just as he was leaving 154 due to lack of fights, some superstar 147s move up to 154 which he could have beaten on a big pvp.
