Saying that it would be a mismatch seems a bit fishy to me,he knows that pacquiao is very fast and that he throws a lot.If he beats pac he would be a super star so there is no reason not to think about a fight against pac.

This is totally wrong. I think Sergio is tired of catch weights and wan't fighters to stick to their real weight classes. Sergios biggest wins are against bigger fighters i think he would rather fight the top names at 160 then beat the smaller pacquiao at a catch weight.

I'm sure you're right. It sounds more like a challenge to me than anything. Firstly, he knows who is the ducker and the one who will challenge himself. Manny being the latter and Junior the former. Secondly, his pronouncement of his acceptable catchweight at 156 sounds like an accomodation to Manny than to Floyd. The thing is, that is a kind of insulting challenge that Manny will likely ignore more than anything else. Thirdly, Manny destroyed the guy who destroyed him, Antonio Margarito. Really sound like a scared challenge to me.

He probably doesn't want to be seen as someone who picks on lower divisions.. calling him scared is laughable - this guy fights and no dramas, he would even take the tests that Mayweather demanded for Pac. I don't expect Pac to fight Paul Williams or Martinez, that would be too much - no one expects that from him. I just hope Pac fights the top 140er and maybe Berto.

Great post. We shouldn't expect Pac OR Floyd to be taking on Martinez. They don't need to prove anything by fighting him. Williams on the other hand insists he can make 47. If he wants a fight i think Floyd or Pac should give it to him.
