Why do we hold such low standards for Pac????
Pac holds a title at 154, it's NOT are fault that he can't make it past 147 just like it wasn't Pac's fault that Hoya was weight drained and shot. Pac's the one that selected to "move up" and fight for Martinez's old title AT 154....
Stop making excuses.... Martinez who's fought most of his career from 147-154 is a legit opponent for Pac who has titles in BOTH weight classes.
Where not going to LOWER our standards of that 154 "title" just because Pac has it. Martinez has EVERY right to fight for it at 154 where PAC chose to "win" a title at.

Now everyone is avoiding the asian midget. I see why because he would kick anyones ass in this sport. Martinez magically can't make 154 anymore when he was at there not to long ago and he looks like a small middleweight. Now Martinez wants this fight at 156. What a clown he is, he has a sloppy defense and he gets hit alot.

stop with the weight drain already. is that all u got everytime pac's name gets brought up? did pac hold a gun to all his other's opponents head and tell them they have to come in at a certain weight? each and everyone of his BIGGER opponents argeed to it so why cry about it later when their not? each and everyone one of them still believe that can beat manny thats why they took the deal.

"He'll go down to 154lbs and do what he has to do to get that fight, and if one of those guys(Mayweather or Pacquiao) has the championship spirit to want to fight him, we'll do whatever we have to do to make the deal"
"we looked at 160lbs because he couldn't get fights at 154lbs"
"He fought at this fight at 157lbs, he can fight at 154lbs, its not an issue"
Manny has the 154lb belt, he should prove he isn't a paper champ and defend it against a real 154lb fighter.

And, Pac is a paper champ. And, him beating Martinez at 154 would still make him a paper champ.Last edited by jrosales13; 11-22-2010, 01:50 PM.
