You are absolutely wrong all around. Pac is IN FACT 154lb "TITLE" holder remember? His 8th WORLD TITLE???? You cant claim that title but then attempt to say...... welllll yeah you see about that..... yeaaaaaaaa he's actually, technically, most likely, somewhat but not too much, a little bit smaller... you see what happened wassssssss....... lol Sorry... he's a 154lber now WITH a title. Martinez IS IN FACT smaller than Hoya and Margarito.... its a REALISTIC fight. Its just the fact HE IS a threat and not a punching bag like Diaz, Hatton, Hoya, Clottey, Margarito..... and if Pac would have fought Cotto AT 147 that would have been A GREAT win in my books.... but its only a "good" win because Hoya at 147 but not Cotto? Weak.......

    Back to topic:
Pac just beat a TOP ELITE Margarito who's much bigger right (cough cough)? A much bigger fighter than Martinez. Pac fought Hoya who's bigger than both Pac AND Martinez... lol

I don't want to see Pac lose I want to see him fight different styles. These weight drained one dimensional punching bags sessions are getting lame...

Pac from 2008 and before is my favorite... everything after is a shame. I don't hate Pac, i hate who he "selects" or more importantly DOESN'T select.

As Max Kellerman explained about Pac's recent fights "UNACCEPTABLE"!

Why do we hold such low standards for Pac?

      interpretation:
      1. PAC IS TOO SMALL (damn, is it that hard to comprehend, lol)
      2. FLOYD CAN MAKE WEIGHT, HE IS A GREAT FIGHTER (somehow, you read that sergio said that floyd was the best fighter in the world?!?!)...

ive been saying since floyd/shane.... floyd needs to step up and get in the ring with sergio. floyd is backed in a corner, he has 2 choices.
your boy floyd didnt DARE mention either guys' names. HAHA.
whether you believe pac is easy work, your boy is having a mental/emotional meltdown at the fact that **** is getting real... spot light is on, he needs to man up. the boxing world is giving him 2 choices.
That's how I read it as well. Unfortunately but not surprisingly, Floydiots here will find a way to misinterpret it and put words in Sergio's mouth that he's putting down Pac. All to make their favorite P4P ducker look good. Pathetic clowns.

      • Why are so many people discussing Mayweather?? Floyd has been so silent in the last time that one can only conclude that his main focus in now on his trial and on his trainer's trial. I believe he will not fight without his uncle or while his own problems with the law are not solved...

          2) Martinez
          3) The Klitchsko brothers
          4) Manny (6 fighters coming off of big losses is not that impressive)
I would put Martinez over Floyd at this moment because
Martinez is staying active and fighting the best while Floyd
is away from the sport. Don't think he deserves to be over
Martinez at this point. Manny like it or not, when it comes to
his opponents were purely hyped to be tough tests for him but
turned out to be over matched by Pac. Sergio Martinez last
two opponents and wins flushes Pacquiao's opponents down
the toilet. Everybody Pacquaio fought was just to make him
look good performance wise. Martinez should just stay at
154/160 and chisel his own legacy in the sport. Would be
good to see Martinez/Angulo or Martinez/Kirkland. I have
Martinez #1 and Floyd#2. Pac avoided the top WW and at
the time P4P#3 fighter (Mosley) and Floyd beat him.
Pac fought for titles at catchweights to pad his legacy.
before I put Pac over them two, he has to fight someone
          with some technical skill.

          • With that performance, Sergio Martinez is the best fighter in the world.

oh so i was wrong when i said Manny is naturally 145 lbs? because i definitely didnt say he wasnt a jr middleweight title holder. what i said was he couldnt even make a welterweight limit.

and you were saying realistically Martinez is smaller than Marg and Oscar? Martinez weighed in 157 lbs and could be as high as 170 lbs and now you're saying he is smaller than the two? get ur FACTS straight!

now after winning 8 division title you want him to fight in a middleweight and way out of his comfort zone? as ive said before let him go to Manny's weight and fight him there. you know damn well Manny will rearranged Sergio's face if they fight in Manny's weight.

              • Pacquiao is not small, actually he has the biggest heart of all. He let those guys suffer like they never suffered before.

Or make the fight at "catchweight" of 155 so Pac can fight for a 9th world title huh? How about it? That's the pac way right?

Pac wants to fight bigger guys. THIS is the type of bigger guys he should be fighting. Not an even "Bigger" weight drained Hoya or even a "bigger" shot and destroyed Margarito who was busted for plaster. Both IN FACT are bigger than Martinez. THE IRONY!!!!!

How do people not understand this? Martinez has fought MOST of his career from 147-154. Weights Pac has titles at. Both "catched" but hey Pacs P4P right?

Mayweather did it. He fought a much "BIGGER" Hoya at 154 while ONLY making 147 once before.

We can expect Mayweather to fight Pac, Margarito (not now), Hoya, Mosley, Cotto (not now), Pwill and Martinez. Why can't we expect Pac who's fighting at a higher weight class than Floyd fight Martinez too?????

Why do we hold such low standards for pac?

Way to break it down Wess. That was dumbass proof!!!!

As for Cotto.....perhaps it was with the fact that Manny still wasnt sure if he was going to stay at WW for good, and both parties found a compromise.

Bottom line is that, i dont understand why people make excuses and argue for a fighter that signed a contract and agreed to a fight. STAR NAMES ALWAYS SET THE FIGHT AND STIPS!!!!! ASK FLOYD WHEN HE HAD TO FIGHT AT 154 AGAINST THE BIGGER NAME.
I do blame Oscar actually. Hell that was a smart move for Pac as Roach said Hoya was shot and would be drained. Pac made a ton of money and a name in that fight. People just forget that Mayweather already did it at HOYAS weight and Hoya's rules. People also forget that Mayweather beat an undefeated (non crack-head) Ricky "Fatton" who walks around weighing more than Floyd. Pac fought a guy who was most likely on coke and fired his entire team. Something was wrong because he then went to Floyd Sr to learn to box...lol

Anyway its the fact that if people want to use Hoya's name to suit there agenda for Pac, I will use his name too. So at the end of the day Pac in fact fought Hoya at 147 for no title but not Cotto AT 147 for the title.... it's weaksuace no matter what excuse people try and put out there. It is what it is and IT IS no catchweight for hoya who was no champ and a "catchweight" for Cotto who was the champ.

As for not accepting the fight. Yea I totally understand, just as JMM didn't have to accept the fight with Floyd either..... It was a crap fight but its the fact that styles make fights and the style that gives Pac hell he has yet to face since 2008. That's a problem. Its actually as Max Kellerman said "UNACCEPTABLE".

I blame BOB ARUM. The guy that hates Floyd for firing him and moved on to make millions on top of millions on top of millions without him. Not to mention he doesn't like to deal with Golden Boy who Mayweather deals with.....

Word! Pac is a title holder at 154 now so he's not too small
"Technically" And Martinez is smaller than Margarito and Hoya.
Do you think Martinez looked at it like that? Maybe Martinez
meant to say that Pac can't see him in the ring and that Floyd
would be a better challenge? He probably just opted to say
he was too small out of respect. BUT he did call it a
"MISMATCH". Read into that however you like.
