I know you are pointing out Sugar Q's outlook not being
correct but yours is a lil tainted as well. Floyd mentioned
both. Martinez to me is the best fighter in the world
because he has been fighting real threats while Pacquiao
hasn't. Floyd needs to fight more inorder to get the real
props and respect. Martinez is top dawg on my list.
The guy is a great fighter.
but like ive said before, floyd talks ALOT... does it mean it happens??? floyd HAD to address sergio, he was being ASKED at postfight interviews... ok, so if its possible, what happened? does the blame go to sergio for not pressing harder???? no, floyd took a vacation bro... he didnt want to fight ANYBODY. he couldve easily said, "give me 6 months, i will be back to whoop manny or sergio..." case closed.... fact is he DIDNT. he had an emotional/mental breakdown and started doing ****** **** outside of the ring.

real talk: floyd & pac faced weak opposition.... cotto SHOULDVE been more competitive... shane SHOULDVE been more competitive... but it became clear that they were both GBP & top rank sacrifices...

i was one of the people who saw a possible upset with shane, but he proved he REALLY was faded... if floyd wasnt enough evidence, MORA definitely was.

im with you on sergio being top dog... he EARNED it...

basing off of how floyd looked compared to shane, he looked big. i think floyd makes 154-156 easy... the size difference ISNT BS... pac needs to stay at 140-147.... the dude is small. i cant wait to see pac/floyd in the ring, you guys will see the size difference.

either way, ITS OFFICIAL. sergio WANTS it.... lets see if youre boy steps up.
Don't ever get that impression dude, I don't need to impress you or anyone. I never said a name I said a friend. Everybody online isn't a fly-by-night fan. No Matter how Floyd looked he's still 146 lbs wet. Dude is not a jr-middle-wt!
Pac weighed 150 going in against Margarito and PBF weighed the same going in against Oscar. If you can challenge for a title @ 54 you can challenge for one @ 55, that's all I'm saying and as a Floyd fan I would love to see he accept that challenge.

So they don't want Pacquiao now? Make up your mind.

I don't know what dude didn't understand but Martinez is on record saying that Floyd is the best and he would do whatever it took to make a fight with him then for Martinez to say Manny would be a mismatch says it all especially with Freddie Roach recently saying size and weight doesn't matter it's all about skills. Out it all together, Martinez doesn't think Manny has the skills to compete because Floyd isn't that much bigger than Manny.
the only thing i agree about this post is that martinez should get #1 p4p consideration. LOL

            • Martinez has many flaws-Roach

Martinez has many flaws said Roach. His mouth is flawed. Everyone wants a Pacquiao jackpot. Yes it will be a mismatch, the other way around. Line him as another Pacquiao Latin American victim.

Lmaol so pbf should man up now and face a guy 2 divisions above him that is not only above him but the best nitice the best in that division and he shouldnt demand a catchweight but hyped pac gets to fight no defense damage fighters at catchweight typical pbf hater or either typical pac nuthugger. What is it going to be now pac is too small arent him and mayweather about the same size wasnt last week people claiming he was a jr middleweight because he won another belt at a catchweight with a damage opponent.

                • What's gonna happen is Floyd will fight Martinez and beat him. Than everyone will be on Floyd's jock with the exception of the *******s who will say "Martinez isn't as good as Pac".

Than Pac will fight Paul Williams and win, and everyone will jump back all over Pac's jock. Though some legit excuses r there (Williams will have probably been dehydrated. Williams was already exposed so that will take away from the quality a little), Pac will get even more credit and it will be marked as another person that Pac fought that Floyd avoided.

                  History repeats

slaughterhouse, technically sound offensive fighter VS plodding volume power puncher.... only difference is kelly had 1-punch KO power. margs was never a KO artist.

people need a reality check. floyd can make 147, so can pac, COMPETITIVE... sergio can make 156, WAAAAY too big for pac, NOT COMPETITIVE.... BUT 156 is possible with floyd, so the choice is clear.... this is not a reflection of who is more skilled, it is a question of physicality....
Outstanding observation. This is some level headed analysis and exactly what the last two fights were all about. Pavlik had 4+ inches and 11lbs on fight night just like Margs size advantage on Pac. Both Serg and Pac had trouble with the size and the power until they targeted the eyes and blinded the bigger guy and you're right about pavlik having more power. It's hard to compare pac and Sergio I think Sergio is just starting to figure out that he can knock anyone out and is fighting more aggressively. I think Martinez is more smooth and rhythmic while pac is a better combination puncher, he's mastered throwing power punching combinations. Both guys have amazing foot work and crisp punching. If they're the same size it would be alot like Marquez vs Pac 2 an even war with great technique as well. At a healthy weight for Martinez though Martinez by KO.
