He just asks about how bad it was and then makes him watch and to top it off he goes classic..."Ummm I'm sure will see you again...umm sometime...Bob" lmao. Max had no time for him, yet during the 1st round the whole crew was conveniently not seeing Williams get clobbered with virtually the same punch form the opening bell.
I love HBO, there telecast is what top notch professional boxing is supposed to look like to me, but even myself as a die hard fan is really starting to think there looking sketchy. They were acting as if Williams was doing well and even gave him the first round despite how ineffective and sloppy his punches were opposed to the clean shots he was eating just to throw those absurd punches. Williams is or was a HBO fighter and he did afterall get a gift last time so HBO was gonna keep talking him up like they do Berto or Cotto's mediocre performances, then when the guy finally gets exposed they throw him under the bus.
I don't like Williams at all and knew he was a highlight reel waiting to happen and yet i still feel bad for the guy more so for how bad max treated him then getting what he deserved in the ring. HBO all but told him to **** off lmao. It wouldn't be an issue if they didn't shove the guy down our throat and basically root for him like they do with HBO fighters, if they were to just objectively broadcast and commentate what is actually happening with no agenda then the treatment of Williams would have been fine. Because they promote him so to speak in some ways it makes blowing him off at the worst professional moment of his life downright evil, He should have at least been able to say a little bit more after seeing himself brutally KO'd and having to admit he didn't see it coming and was out. Once again I don't even like Williams but he took the shot he deserved more than what he got.
