I'm black and I just can't get down with that kinda **** anymore. Back in the Joe Louis or Ali days when we were treated as second class citizens and less than human with few opportunities and poor representation I could understand it, but now? Nah. I'll cheer for whomever the fucc I want because sports shouldn't be about race. The Nationalism is pretty bad too.

If a person only supports fighters of his own race or only choses who to support based on race it might be taking it a bit to far. I support fighters based on the skills, style, resume, personality but if you have a situation where all else is equal like two unknown fighters with identical skill and style where only nationality differs then it is only natural to support your own nationality or race but this shouldn't led to being disrespectfull to other races and nationalities.

Couldn't agree more, I don't really recall this sought of racial tension even a few years ago. The Mayweather vs Pacquaio debacle has only increased this, I do like these boards but alot of people on here don't act very noble.
