for martinez to get the #1 spot, he'd have to beat wifbeeater, then clean out what's left of 160 lbs, then fight and beat the winner of the super six.
damn why didn't Manny have to go through that type of competition before he was given the 1?

How can you put someone on the number 1 spot over an 8 Division Title Holder?

            Margarito already beat Martinez.

I agree with that, but in no way does it justify ranking Sergio at #1. p4p is all about your entire body of work not your most recent accomplishments. You make it seem like Pac's only where he's at cuz of Clottey and Margarito. Really?

Martinez should move up 3 weight divisions and dominate to become P4P #2.

so roy jones should still be number 1? recent fights matter the most and recently martinez has been kicking ass while guys like floyd have been cherry picking and living off the best wins he had nearly 10 years ago.

Pac's win is more impressive. Pavlik won some rounds on Martinez.

Clottey and Margarito safe to say they never won a single round against Pacquiao.

Impressive ? Pac was fighting at 130 and 135 lbs 1-2 years before that

                      I don't know , but he is a top 5 now. #1 ? IDK .

The top 5 should consist of : Martinez , Marquez , Pacquiao , Mayweather and probably Shane Mosley still as a #5 . Remember Mosley drew with a middleweight in his last fight , a MW who went 1:1 with the man who outpointed Shane twice , and Mosley weighed in as a LMW against him.
Shane also outdid Pacquiao against Margachito , fought Mayweather under Mayweather's conditions , fought a much younger and physically sound delahoya , so he can still be regarded as a top 5 , I don't have any better ideas as to whom should be ranked in the top 5 .

BTW , I just watched the first 2-3 rounds of Guinn vs Pulev . Guinn scored a KD in rd 2 which never counted as one ..
