Nope, just a very well placed and calculated shot by Sexy on the predictable and defensively poor Williams.

So enjoy the belt for now but the punisher will be back better than ever
          Quintana is better than Williams

That wasn't a lucky punch. He was tagging Paul hard in the first round as well. There was no way Paul's chin was gonna hold up for 12 rounds this time.

IIRC he took the 1st fight on short notice. He had like 3 weeks to train, and still gave Paul a fight

He was constantly landing that lead left punch, so no it wasn' a lucky punch, it was an amazing shot of a great boxer.

A bad boxer will never be able to do something like that.

Lucky punch? Are you kidding me? Are you mad?

Sergio was landing that left hand all night! Paul williams comes in with his right hand real low and had it coming! It was about time! I was rooting for a UD, but this shocked me. You can tel Martinez was sitting on his punches! He would plant his feet while moving back and POW!

Fight over! Lucky punch? No. Paul Williams got caught while throwing a punch! Well placed left hand!

                  Sergio Martinez P4P!

There was no way he saw that punch land so really he had little control over where exactly it landed and it takes perfect placement to put a man to sleep liek that.

He knew Williams was going to be open so he took the chance.

It looked cool though because he was looking away when the punch landed and he knew Williams went to sleep so he jsut continued right on through.

I wouldn't exactly call it lucky but he certainly Ferando Valenzuela'ed that punch.
