I have said that Martinez is the best example of a boxing champion that you can have. He moves up or down in weight to make fights, meets others catchweight demands, always puts on a great show, and has the skills to pay the bills too. Dude was due for some recognition and i knew he would be eons better in this fight since he has the ability to adjust nd he had a full training camp.

People just kept talking about the short camp Williams had before the first bout but Martinez had 4 weeks to prepare and Williams had like 3 months (albeit 2 of the months were training for an orthodox boxer)

Martinez is what boxing is about!!!!!

I agree with, Emauel Steward. Martinez is in a no mans zone of no one to fight his size for big money. Neither Floyd or Manny is going to dance with him.

I hope that if Martinez become no 1 one day, he'll continue to fight the best and don't do the same thing
              I share the same view.

Hopefully, Sergio will continue this fighting this trend. Much respect. He don't have much ring mileage yet so he may very well be the next superstar in the next years.

Man... If Pirog would be given also a chance, he may be right in line to challenge Martinez. Now, that would be very sweet.
