    A question to you forumers?

Why is it that many African American boxers past and present have given Pac props for what he has done, but Hopkins and Floyds camp say negative stuff and all of a sudden all blacks are jealous of Pac's success......

Because 95% of *****s and Pacquiao haters are black with the same ignorant mentality.

i dont really care what hopkins or floyd say but i find it fascinating how many people deny that blacks almost exclusively root for blacks

i mean maybe if i was from the midwest or something you could convince me im "ignorant" for thinking that but im speaking from lifelong experience - most american black people would probably stop watching boxing if there were no black champions and many are outright hostile at fighters like pacquaio and klitschko

Right, so its ojk for Phillipines to support Pac, Mexicans to support Mexicans etc. but its not ok for blacks to support black fighter.... I dont get it.

I didn't say it wasn't ok. Quite frankly it's fine with me..

I just said I'm fascinated by how many people deny it. There's obviously some bitterness towards non-black champions. If Floyd loses I can see 147 being a "weak era" pretty soon afterward.

There are also lots of black posters on this site itself who believe in black athletic superiority and were kind of scrambling when people pointed out blacks haven't dominated boxing in years and are going the way of white american boxers. Dunno if those threads got deleted or not now but they were pretty big.

Point being, while Hopkins doesn't represent an entire race, he did bring the topic up

If I'm sure of one thing it's that nobody cares about Hopkins himself and they all just had opinions waiting to be unloaded as soon as the topic came up

I know pac's whole freeking nation is riding his nutts off the strength that he is a pinoy but a small minority of blacks hate on pac and it's all blacks hate pac now. It's crazy but it's to the point where if you don't say pac is the best EVER that you are branded a hater. I'm just not willing to elevate pac over any of the greats that came before until he fights and defeats another ATG. Even if he beats Mayweather he still will never be a top 30 ATG in my eyes. Because of all the catchweight and paper title shennanigans. Same goes to Mayweather fight and beat pac or shut up.
