Have writers forgot about Vlad's fight with Williamson?

DaVarryl Williamson that is. He was floored in that fight from what seemed like a grazing shot or whatnot, maybe he was off balance or not though let's hope so. Let's also remember he performed what I believe was **** against a man Joe Mesi KOed in first round. The cut that stopped the fight in favor of Vlad really I think saved him because he seemed very poor that night and could have gone down again and lost on points by the end of the night. The funny thing is, in every article leading up to Mr. Samuel Peter bout, I've yet to read anything about Vlad's fight with Davarryl as if it was so bad, they could just write it off and easily forget about it. Hmmmm.

the knockdown appeared to be an off balance shot as wlad came rushing in. wlad appeared clear eyed and went on to dominate the round. youre right tho,,,he did look horrible that night. if he looks the same way against peter it will be an early night for wlad. either way,,,I do predict a knock out for peter,,,but I think he may have to eat some pretty good leather himself before wlad tires and he gets wlad out of there

Got my bet set at Bet365 already. I think the odds will sharply drop as the fight approaches.

What does Wlad +200 mean again?

Is Wlad the favorite or the dog?

You have to be kidding me when you say Wlad was floored by TOS.

Getting pushed with a punch when you are already tripping on your feet only to touch the ground to regain your balance is not a the same thing as being floored like TOS was against Joe Mesi.

There is a long history of boxers who dominated overmatched foes in the first couple of rounds, stopping most of them, and when they first come apart in the later rounds, they pace themselves in future fights but look like crap in the process.

Foreman looked like crap after Ali stopped him late.
Tyson lost all agression after Williams stopped him.

Now I have to wonder if Wlad will pace himself and not finish Peter early.

I think Kirk Johnson was better when he fought Vitaly then Peter is now.... You remember what happened then, don't you.

Yes, Wlad did get hit, and it was counted as a KD, as it should have been, but Wlad was never hurt in that fight and it's hard to look good against someone that runs that much. Something else to consider is the fact that this fight will most likely be nothing like that fight because you will have a shorter, aggressive fighter trying to take it to a taller, skilled fighter with a big punch in both hands. I wish that Wlad hadn't been cut, because I am hard pressed to believe Williams was going to come on in the later rounds when he had done nothing to tire Wlad out. I believe if he had tried to fight later on, Wlad would have caught him anyway because he was never forced to fight, and therefore wouldn't have been exhausted.
