sugar shane is a legend but at this point in his career he hasn't merited a fight with pacquaio,he should fight berto and see where he goes from there.

Why are they against it?? I don't buy Ariza's reason, but i suspect Roach is against it because Mosley has true KO poewr at 147.

Seriously am i the only one who recognises it would be a good fight despite Shane's age and him being years out of his prime.

Why?? What exactly do you need to do to merit a Pac fight?? WTF did Margarito do to get his turn?? Get ***** slapped by Shane, have a forced exile for over a year and a lacklustre comeback at 154???? WFT did Clottey do to get his turn??

Why are posters insisting Shane needs to beat Berto to get a Pac fight?? That's a cop out load of garbage my man.

it's been quite clear to me that shane is on the way out,as for margarito to me that fight was all about how pacquiao would handle such a big size difference and you got the sense with margarito that he was going to lay it all out on the line which i believe he did, look at shane in the mayweather fight he was blowing out his arse after a few rounds with a fighter probably as half as aggressive than pacquiao,i love shane but would hate to see him being KO'D by pacquaio.

I just don't buy it. Maybe Mosley's right and we're going to start seeing a whole lot deflection and "negotiations" and some time down the line, he's chosen. Maybe that's how it's all done. But I don't believe for one second that this is what's on Manny Pacquiao's mind. Then again, he always says he just fights whoever his promoter puts in front of him.

sure....but on an the way out Shane still cracked Margarito's skull like an egg and had Mayweather on ***** street, albeit for about 10 seconds.

Styles make fights....Margarito punches in slow motion and still hit Pac. Shane is faster and more powerful than Margarito. He has less stamina and throws less, but i would agrgue strongly at 147 he is a much bigger threat than Margarito, Clottey and even Cotto were.

I'm in the minority in that i would like to see this fight happen. I would prefer Mayweather or Berto, but at 47 Shane is the third best option and i would prefer him over JMM or any of the 140 pounders.

If Pac's got two better options at 147 and more options in other weight classes then he's pretty low on the totem pole. Exactly where he should be at this point,

maybe we'll see then i'd love to be proved wrong, not a fight i'd want to see but if it indeed gets made then i will look forward to it but to me both fighters have nothing to prove by fighting each other ,i love both of them and don't want to see either get beat though would like shane to finish his career on a high but feel pacquiao would stop him.
