I have a lot of time for Sergio Martinez. As with Williams, I rarely have a dull time watching him and I love his willing and tenacity.

But I like Paul Williams' relative youth.

I'd just feel very happy for Paul if he won this and I think he will, uncontroversially this time.



My one complaint is the catchweight.

Reason? The last time Williams and Martinez fought, Martinez weighed in at 159 pounds, so I dont think one pound really matters IMHO.

I think a Williams win is better for boxing. For one he is still in his prime while Sergio is in his mid 30s. And second I think more boxing fans can relate to a boxer who speaks english. I am still pissed at him beating Pavlik so will be routing for Williams.

That's fine you are not a fan of Pavliks, while I am a fan. I was just giving my reason for routing for Williams. You can not deny that Williams has much more long term potential then Sergio Martinez. This fight is so big for both of them but bigger for Williams going into the future.
