What options will the winner of William vs Martinez II have?

Other than Mayweather and Pacquiao, I could only think of Mosley and Cotto at 154. And I can't picture any of those people taking the fight. Too much risk. Also, Martinez said he only has like 2 fights in him left before retiring, so he has to get some big names if he wants to cement his name in the history books. It's gonna be tough finding opponents after the fight.

Mosley will never fight at 154 anymore. He knows he can't handle the bigger guys. I don't know how Cotto feels about fighting Williams or Martinez though. Didn't Martinez say he wanted to fight Bute at 168? I'd like to see that one.

If PWill can't get Pac next I'd like to see him take on Felix Sturm. Somebody needs to KO that annoying overrated protected German fighter.

Lets forget about Pac and Floyd

They are 2 division above them and neither wants a peice of the MW champ

I would say take Strum out

Internationally, both have some interesting options. Felix Sturm, Sebastian Slyvester and Daniel Geale could all make decent money. Not stateside, but in Europe.

Aside from that, they could hope that someone like Angulo or Kirkland makes some noise in 154 and decides to move up. Dmitry Pirog is still a ways off. If Martinez wins, a rubbermatch could also be in place.

Paul Williams could face Pavlik, I'd like to see that fight

There is also Chavez Jr (if we lived in a universe where Chavez actually fought good competition)
