Wtf happened to pirog?

I haven't seen much of that guy. One thing I really noticed is he moves weird in the ring. He'll back straight up, but he'll move his lead foot back first, behind his back foot, and then bring his back foot into the correct position. Sometimes when he's coming forward, he moves his back foot first, but I really noticed it when he was moving backwards to step out of range. Maybe someone with more knowledge could tell me if that's good under any circumstance, but as far as I know that's a really bad thing to do. Against a fighter with good lateral movement, he could get really ****ed up, if they circle on him when he's crossing his feet.

A couple of months ago Pirog said he wanted to come back to the US and fight on HBO.

But Ross Greenburg doesn't like him.

Greenburg says he'll Pirog will need to wait until the spring of 2011 or later. Of course, Greenburg had no problem finding a spot for Andre Berto on the late fall schedule.

Pirog needs to forget about fighting in the US on HBO and remain active.

i think he's been waiting to land a fight on HBO

but Ros Greenburg has no plans in doing that (or until 2011)

pirog was brought in as the opponent. he wasn't supposed to win because he's white and his opponent was black.

I read that Sturm is fighting Ronald Hearns next year which is a huge joke of a fight.

We need Pirog fighting 5 times a year.
