    Cotto

Cotto is the man right now. If he keeps going the way he is going now him and Mayweather will be at the top of the 140 div. and that is the fight I want to see.

the only thing that i didnt like about cotto
was the absence of his right hand in his arsenal
but he has shut me up with his last to fights
not only has he used it more
but he puts guys down with it too!!
and appearently cotto suffered some kind of injury to his right hand which was what has hampered his usage of it
any one know lil more about this accident?

    all i can say is
    im on board now
    all aboard the cotto bandwagon

On August 18, 2000 – while driving to a 5:30 A.M. workout, Cotto fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into a concrete wall. The accident was very serious and caused several injuries to the young fighter. Cotto said, “It was a very serious accident. I broke my arm and shoulder in four different places. I think being in the shape I am in really helped.” Cotto bears a scar on his right shoulder and a six-inch titanium rod in his right arm as a result of the accident. Miguel, however, found a positive side to the accident; he said, “This kind of helped me. It made me think more about my family and be more focused on my career, because I almost didn’t have one.”

I was told that Cotto had a car accident before or just a little after he turned pro where he injured his right hand. I think he had some screws put into his hand to help the healing.

Yes, he crashed his car driving down the highway in Puerto Rico in August of 2001 and broke his Humerus bone in his right arm and had to have surgery. Also, did you ever notice the scar he has on his right shoulder?

Yes, Cotto has worked hard on his right hand and now it's paying off. I was one of those who hopped he could better his right but now he is the complete package.

I guess it was in his shoulder someone told me it was in his hand.
