Is Jeff Lacy ready for a title shot?

There have been fights every Saturday this month, with the Toney mid-week fight thrown in, and it seems everybody wants to talk about Wlad and Tito/Mayorga.

But this Vanderpool vs. Lacy fight might be the best of the night Saturday.

I like Lacy A LOT. I think he's the future of 168. But the guy's only got 16 official fights - two fights ago he struggled with the same Donnell Wiggins that Rico Hoye KO'd in 1 - then he had a no contest.

Is he ready for his shot Saturday?

Hopefully it's years away when both guys have had ahold of thier divisions for a while - a DLH/Hopkins for 2008 or so.

Ever since Calzaghe it's been downhill, the shoulder injury just made things worse.

Jermain will slaughter Lacy. I have no doubt. Too fast. Jeff's face is gonna get mashed up.
