More Powerful Puncher: Manny Pacman Pacquiao OR Sugar Shane Mosley?

Pacquiao might be a POUND FOR POUND harder puncher, but comparing straight up Mosley is a much harder hitter.

I very much agree with this. I think Mosley hits like a truck and if he weren't so impatient, we'd see a lot more demonstrations from him of one-punch knockout power.

I notice when both are not sitting on there punches....Manny hits a lot harder. Look at the Cotto fight or any fight in which Shane doesn't have a brawler in front of him who just lets him unload that right hand. Manny's punches are much more vicous as seen by his oppponents faces after the fight is over.

However, when Mosley is allowed to load up and get full leverage.....he hits harder than Manny, as far as one punch KO ability. It's really not close when it comes to that.

FWIW I hardly ever see Manny sit down on a punch and try to get full leverage into his shot.....outside of the Hatton KO. I've notice that about him as he would rather do damage with combos than try to land that huge shot to hurt you.

What im saying if pac throws a 5 punch combination it would take half a second to do it and they would all be hardish shots.

SSM on the other hand would throw 5 punches and it takes 2 seconds to throw them, but they would be fractionally harder. Pac is more devasting because his punches flow more naturally.

I think some people underestimate Pacquiao's 1 punch power based on the fact that they think he's so much speed that does the damage. Of course that is true, but let's take some facts in. He's been facing LARGER competition as of late which will make his power look alil bit weaker when in reality, it's there. Look what happened when he was matched with someone his size. KO2 Hatton. Going up facing larger men such as Oscar, Cotto, and Margarito, Pacquiao has rearranged their faces brutally. Pacquiao is still a lightweight or super lightweight with a WW punch. So many people like to deny that and believe Pacquiao should be fighting Middleweights all day until he gets KO'd and they are happy, but facts are facts, and just...common sense. Mosley is strong and looks strong because he faces guys his size. What happened when he fought bigger men? (Winky UD 1st and 2nd fight).

yes exactly look at what happened to margarito as you yourself said. nonstop abuse he threw everything but the kitchen sink at him and couldn't knock him out. mosley brutally annihilated margarito in a few rounds. mosley is clearly the harder puncher PERIOD. now pound for pound punching may be diferent but thread doesn't specify that.

Pacs power is more natural. By that i mean his punches flow better, whereas SSM is more robotic and loads up. Every punch Pac throws is hurtful naturally.....basically he is a better puncher, better offensively.

If you dont understand that, lets say SSM power is on a scale of 1-10 a number 8 powerwise. Pac is a 7 but his punches come more naturually and can come from either hand.
