    Martinez-Williams: Punching Power?

Who has the advantage? Common wisdom is that Williams hits harder, but I'm rewatching the first fight and Martinez can really punch if he throws hard...nuthuggers either way need not respond.

I think that Williams hits harder but Martinez is more accurate with his punches and Williams often doesn't see punches coming. Those punches hurt the most.

neither guy are really known for their power.

pwill is feather fisted for a guy his size, but that's cause most of his punches are arm punches.

martinez isn't a great puncher either.

        it's about equal.

Good points. Martinez's chin is better by a long shot, so it might not matter who hits harder. He takes the shots a lot better.

He has a 70% KO ratio.

Pretty incredible for a feather fisted fighter, eh?

I actually think Martinez sits down on his punches way more than williams does but thats just me.
