That's actually a good idea. I don't see why they can't do that, so at least other threads about 'other' boxers get more recognition and hype.

Oh yeah man, damn all those fighters that have enough star power to transcend elitist boxing heads and captivate millions of mainstream people that otherwise wouldnt be interested in boxing.

Damn them for keeping boxing on TV!

        GRRRRR!

Agreed, very pathetic that we have a fight of the year candidate for the lineal MW championship in just a few hrs and people would rather talk about fantasy fights that will never happen.

                  This isn't even too exaggerated.

I've noticed the difference in the hype we (boxing fans) generate. The hype we put on a fight or a fighter makes a world of difference.

Why the **** do we know who Tyson Fury is? Jose Benavidez? Omar Henry?

They haven't done ****, yet we know about them... We know them because of the hype put behind them by their fanbase.

Imagine an NFL forum being this obsessed with the Patriots and Colts, an NBA forum with Celtics and Lakers, MLB forum Yankees and Red Sox, etc. You know the sports would be garbage if the "hardcore" fans are only talking about them.

I am pretty sure those forum do work like that though, there aren't that many hardcore fans here either atleast broadbased hardcore.

Green K to this dude, he knows what's up. I am tired of hearing about the same two fighters over and over everyday of the week. Come on guys, let's get busy watching other potentially great fights. Mayweather and Pacquiao aren't boxing, there is plenty more people we should be talking about.
