Universum Box-Promotion's heavyweight prospect Manuel Charr (15-0, 8 KOs) started the telecast with a boring and disappointingly uneventful stoppage of American veteran Robert Hawkins (23-16, 7 KOs). There was little boxing but a good share of clinching, roughhouse tactics and lazy-jabbing. The Chagaev that decisioned Valuev might have given Haye a good fight. The Chagaev that fought tonight would probably get destroyed; he's hardly gonna get the WBA on his side to get his payday moving quickly with this performance (even thought the WBA are a bunch of idiotic bstards...)

Hats off to Travis Walker for giving Chagaev a very tougher than expected fight. Travis fought with a lot of heart and took some huge shots that should've put him down.

He caused him problems for all of a round and a half before he gassed like Brock Lesnar and started going down every time he was touched.

It's a very poor showing for any top level Heavy to not knock Travis Walker out, hell fat out of shape Johnathon Banks had no problem doing it.
