In my honest opinion I feel it is a bit unfair for Floyd but that's just how its gonna go....the media placing the blame soley on Floyd.
It would matter because everyone is focused on this fight happening.

It would be unfair if Floyd ONLY asked Manny to take the tests and not he himself, right?

What about Manny asking Floyd ONLY to take it and not he himself?

Manny has to speak with his promoter on that matter.

Maybe the BobFather's ok hasn't been given yet so they can start their David Hayesque promotional shouting "anytime, anyplace, no cutoff's" while Manny finds himself "tied up" in another fight in the meantime.

If he took the tests and passed he would be commended; and deservedly so.

Never mind who wins or loses, additional testing for a fight of this magnitude would set a great example for the sport, and send the realization that overall additional testing for Boxing would only lead to good things.

I don't understand why, if additional testing is so bad, Team Pacquiao doesn't just say: "We don't need to take additional tests." It's not like they don't know where Floyd stands on the issue.

So they realize it's a bad idea, why not just say "We don't believe it's a good idea anymore because we don't to believe it is any more effective than regular urine testing." ?

I'm certain the media and particularly the boxing public would praise both fighters for going the extra mile to keep the sport clean. How can that possibly be a bad thing especially since Both fighters have never tested positive for anything in the past?

Maybe team Pac just enjoy's humoring Floyd?

Maybe Team Pac just likes to shout about "anytime, anyplace, no cutoff's, Manny agreed to the terms" as their form of proof to the media and fans that Manny is clean without having to actually take any of these unnecessary, unprecedented, weakening tests while moving on because Manny doesn't need Floyd and they have other better challenges for him lined up in the meantime?

I wonder how many of us could decide when we would do testing asked for by by the highest paying job of our lives while shouting anytime, anyplace, no cutoff's and lining up other less paying jobs in the meantime. Would that job wait around for us? Would we even get hired regardless in the first place?

We should all try that logic. I'm sure it would work wonders.

Manny isn't really a Mediawhore. Also stating that you don't need any more testing makes you seem even more su****ious.

The answer to that is improved testing would never be a bad thing. Unfortunately, Manny's team thinks otherwise for whatever reason.

Does anyone have any idea how they will handle an admitted cheater in Mosely should they decide to fight him?

I mean the current testing team Pac is satisfied didn't catch Mosely previously. Would team Pac only require additional testing for an admitted cheater but none for Pac himself?

Cheater's do deserve second chances. Because as Pac said so himself "We are all human and deserve a second chance".......What about preventing cheating happening in the first place?
