The boxer who appears to be the frontrunner for a Manny Pacquiao showdown, "Sugar" Shane Mosley, is very confident of his chances in the fight. Mosley is the clear secondary option if Pacquiao's promoter, Top Rank, is unable to finalize a deal for a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. Mosley had less than stellar 2010. He lost a near one-sided twelve round decision to Mayweather in May and then fought to a twelve round draw with Sergio Mora in September.

I have to say I do want this fight,if they mix it up at 147lb I give Mosley a really good shot..Mosley is very physical,while every fighter that Pac fought has not been the physical kinds of fighters..Can you see Mosley clinching and walking pac back while landing hard shots on the inside??I would favor Pac but I'm not counting Moses out in this one...

Mosley was under the GBP banner when he fought Margarito and Cotto, So he shouldnt make that excuse about how he needs to leave GBP to get a fight with a fighter from Top rank, Unless Arum told him he wouldnt do a deal with Mosley if GBP represent him.

This is not only professional boxing but also the current big money division the promoters and media are pushing heavily. If you want to see guys face up-and-coming no names this is the last place you want to be.

Mosely is a fairly obvious fight for Pacquaio from a professional standpoint. He's a big name to have on your record and he exposed Floyd (if temporarily) and had him dancing around tearing Moely's arm out of its socket trying to stay on his feet. If Pacquaio could shut him out for 12 rounds or KO him it would be a double victory. The fight is also obviously a guaranteed money maker. From Mosely's standpoint it's merely a chance to fight the biggest name in the world.

Not saying I really care to see it but it's obvious why both sides would want it to happen.

That's what he said,Arum is not doing anything with GBP at the moment and that's that..So if Mosley wants to fight Pac,Cotto or Marga's he will have to leave GBP and those are his best fights right now(other then Berto)for Mosley to fight..
