Personally, I think this is one of the best things boxing has going for it in terms of the lower weight classes. Montiel is injured, Donaire is fighting bums and Hasegawa is on the rebound. This tournament has all the four other names in the lower weight classes and it's a small enough group that you can hope they don't get injured during the process.

Joseph Agbeko Vs. Yhonny Perez II

Personally, I think that the main event will likely feature Perez Vs. Mares II. I think Mares has a good chance of taking that rematch if it actually comes to fruition.

Nonetheless, what do you guys think? With the first round coming up, who do you guys think comes out on top?

Considering the top two fighters and Donaire aren't in it, it's the best they could do. It's still pretty good though.

Hasegawa will probably continue to campaign at FW. And Donaire's next opponent isn't a bum though, far from it.
