Of course it's a valid reason to dislike someone. Just like it's valid to develop an affinity with a fighter because you like their personality.
I mean, are we just supposed to ignored Floyd being an ignorant, ******, classless human being? Doesn't mean I don't recognise he is a brilliant boxer, just that I can't get on board who talks so much ****** **** and acts like a ****?
Why can't personality come into play? Otherwise, we'd all just support Floyd/Pac as the best two fighters in the world, or support someone because they came from the same piece of land as us. Alot of the fighters I like, I do not only because of their boxing style but something in their personality/spirit (which often manifested itself in the way they fought) that I think is pretty cool and makes me want to root for them.
