What does being American have to do with it. Look at all the Euopeans. It would be one thing if white Americans had a different style from Europeans like how African Americans tend to have a different style from Africans, but really, if White Americans actually had a "style" it would merely be a brawler style, like Michael Katsidis (not American) or the Boxer puncher style like Mikkel Kessler (not American).

Yeah I agree. Most of my friends are all interested in mma and not so much pure boxing. It seems mma is taking over but why is it that boxers make so muc more money per fight than a ufc figter ?

There are plenty of white American athletes in sports, boxing is a different story but that is more socio-economic than a athletic thing.

Like most boxing gyms tend to be in poor urban areas, those areas are not usually inhabited by a bunch of white people who are not emigrants.

If you never see a boxing gym you won't pick up the sport and will move to different sports.

White American boxers are trash.

White Americans in general are non-atheltic.

There are many good white fighters in Boxing. In fact, white people hold 70% of titles above welterweight. But these talented white fighters are all European, usually Eastern European.

White Americans are pretty much the most non-athletic race there is.

I saw this and I immediately wanted to **** on you and say like "(insert great athlete here) disagrees" and then I got to thinking...and thinking...and the only name I could really come up with as a dominant athlete (so no Joe Montanna, Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, they were/are dominant field generals) was Babe Ruth. And if a 5'11 chubby guy 80 years ago is white America's great athletic hope...you might have a point. Brett Gardener and Jim Leonard (LF for the Yankees and FS for the Jets) are pretty spectacular athletes, but then you look at Mike Vick, Hanley Ramirez, Manny Pacquiao and LeBron and that goes right out the window.
