Pacquaio bigger worldwide than entire UFC roster

UFC had their poster boy, the guy that solds the most tickets, Brock Lesnar just get destroyed. It seems that Pacquaio is bigger than all the UFC title holders combined.

Everyone claims Boxing is dead (well not everyone, just the ufc fanboys). But the truth is the name of Manny pacquaio seems to be bigger, more popular than the entire roster of UFC. Pac beats the name brand of UFC!

UFC seemed to peak between 06-09, but now it seems the tides have turned and combat sports seem to be more focused on Boxing at the moment. This could all change, or if Brock won and kept winning, he could have been big - but now, Pacquaio seems to have that Ali aura about him, which is finding its way into mainstream news media.

I'm more excited about Boxing at the moment than anything going on in UFC. Edgar/Maynard ? Old Hughes vs. Old BJ ? GSP wrestling match with Josh Koscheck (again!)...

Nah...Boxing Pacquaio, Martinez / Paul Williams 2, Super Six still pretty cool despite the haters, Haye ducking Klitcschkos is pretty entertaining, etc.

Ugh Besides Manny, Floyd, and Wlad and Vitali in Europe I really don't see any other boxers getting anywehre near the exposure that say GSP, Anderson Silva, Brock lesner, Rampage jackson, Chuck Liddell, Randy Coture and few others have gotten and are currently still getting.

Hell ESPN even has a weekly show that covers MMA every week thats on tonight and Im not exactly seeing anything of the sort coming from boxing now am I.

i watch boxing/kickboxing/mma and between the 3 theres a good fight every weekend... whats the problem exactly? i hope its like that forever

It's basically how you look at it. Boxing doesn't have a show the magnitude of "The Ultimate Fighter" but big boxing matches usually do bigger PPV numbers, and have bigger attendances. Has UFC ever held a card with 45,000 people attending like last Satruday's Pacquiao/Margarito? Not that I know of. I'd say both sports are about equal, but it seems although UFC has faded to a degree over the last couple of years, while boxing continues to grow. It'll be a long time before a UFC PPV does 2million+ buys. Heck, it'll be a long time before a UFC does 1.5million+ buys.
