Round 7 - Walker on the offensive. He's gainingon confidence but just hasnt got Chagaevs defence figured out. Walker lands a big right as Chagaev walks in. Walker lands the uppercut with Chagaev n the ropes. And a left hook. Another hook. Ruslan fire a few graving shots back. Chagaev keeps his composure, doesnt appear to be hurt. Walkers round.

    Chagaev 5-2

Round 6 - Walker does better in the first minute but sitll hasnt landed anything to get Ruslans attention since the uppercut in Rd 2. Walker lands a big hook while Chagaev is on the ropes, but again Chagaev takes it well. Chagzev goes on the offensice but nothing lands Time out for Walker to get a new mouth guard. Walker compains about a shot to the back of the head. Walker overwings and Chagaev lands one on the back of his head again while hes leaning down.

One the replay it looks like Walkers big shot just grazed Ruslan.

      Chagaev 5-1
Chagaev does need to win this by KO/TKO, then again if he looks like crap, Vagina might be a littlle more willing to face his mandatory.

This fight is turning into a real war for Chagaev as Walker is there to fight and wants to win just as bad as his opponent. Great exchanges as both guys are landing big punches through round 7...

Round 8 - Walkers confidence is up, hes on the advance. Catches a huge sweeping right from Ruslan and backs up. Crowd is chanting for Ruslan. Walker comes bakc and lands a few grazing shots. Walker lands a decent left hook. Ruslan lands a strait left and grazes Walker with the right. Walker gets Ruslan on the ropes but doesnt land anything.

Walkers mouth is extremely wide open. He's tired. If Ruslan loads up some combinations Waker will probably be out of there.

            Chagaev 6-2.

Peter Kohl probably told Chagaev to not KO Walker, just do enough to win, so the Gayemaker won't be afraid to fight him.

And yet you are the guy who said this wasn't worthy for a Sat fight. A decent HW fight is always Sat worthy. They have to decent HW fights - the Chagaev fight and I would have liked to seen Boytsov.

Great finish to an unexpected great fight! Credit to Walker for giving Chagaev a really difficult fight and not laying down and getting KO'd....

Exactly...but watch Diva duck him anyway, too young (even though they are about the same age) and highly rated for him, he needs to pick on some 39 or over.
