NEWFLASH: Tuaman pulls out of fight

    Tua pulls out of PPV!
Heavyweight David Tua will not be fighting on the August 26 "Heavyweight Heat" card at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Tua reportedly is still in pain after surgery to remove a wisdom tooth and was advised not to fight by his oral surgeon. He was scheduled to face Cisse Salif on the undercard of the PPV event featuring Shannon Briggs vs Ray Mercer, the first world title defense of O'Neil Bell, Lance Whitaker, Jameel McCline and more. Tua's fight with Salif might be recheduled for October.

Sucks, I have no interest in it...It just lost all of it's appeal.

i dont know. tua needs money in the worst way.has plenty of legal problems.

i think tua wouldnt be afraid of going what would amount to be a 4 to 6 rounder with cissee.

surgury to take a wisdom tooth out is heavy.youre fckd up before the surgury and your fckd up after the surgury. it effect your jaw.you got a gash in your mouth that takes time to heel or youre drinking blood.

I had 4 wisdom teeth pulled out in less than a month, 2 being at a time. That whole hype about it hurting and painful is a bunch of ****. They numbed me up taken them out sent me home on my merry way and left the gauze in for an hour. Had taken it out to let air get to it. By evening I was eating soft solid foods like bread and pasta......

If Tua's wisdom teeth were impacted, then the dentist essentially has to cut the gums wider and crack the wisdom tooth. Then he has to extract the pieces. It differs from patient to patient. All four of mine emerged and the dentist had an easy time removing them, thus I had only a week's worth of discomfort. For others, depending on how bad their wisdom teeth had grown, it can be really bad for the patient for much longer.

I understand that but it is still a load of crap from the pain factor though. I think most people are traumatized by it because of what they hear and already know ahead of time they will be in pain....Pain can be controlled by your mind especially if an individual is already afraid of the procedure......However, I wouldnt recommend getting hit in the face after it either but the article lacks the date he had the procedure. But I am sure it isnt because Tua is afraid or anything like that and he looked to be in decent shape from photos.....
