Having ANY fight available for download is the way to go. They can be remastered, 720p or 1080p.. Some can be purchased while others can remain free.

Though I think physical media (printed disks) are dying. I like the idea of having fights on Bluray. Maybe they can have a fight where you're able to switch the fight commentary from HBO to Skybox to Top Rank, etc. Also they could have it where you're able to switch camera angles at will during the fight.

(like have "Boxing After Dark season 1", having all BAD broadcasts for the year in the bluray.)

it'd be best so people can broaden their liking of unknown fighters.

i would totally buy every Bluray available if they did this
Sell it both ways.. The powers at be are well aware boxing fans can't hold their money. Most would buy boxer career sets and annual HBO sets. Fans could rationalize, I can't get see Sergio Martinez' earlier fights by buying 2010's HBO boxing set. They could have us rebuying the same fights 2 or 3 times with eventual rereleases.

If they do make DVDs of fights such as Tyson vs. Lewis, hopefully they put the full broadcast. Not just the main event. If they did that it would be gold!

I'd love to watch fights with the different broadcast teams. Watch Pac kicking someone's ass to the tune of Lampley's blow by blow or with British accents. Buy.

Yeah I hate going to the dvd section and seeing that boxing doesn't have its own section. It shares an area with mma.. and while mma has so many different fights there's like 6 dvds on boxing all of them ali and tyson documentaries... don't get me wrong I like tyson and ali but id also like some fights! Like the MAB morales trilogy or a greatest hits of some fighter...

Although I did pick up a sweet ass dvd of the greatest latin fighters.. but it was rather old (narrated by edward james olmos)

You know what would be awesome? Minute by minute commentary by the boxers themselves over the actual fights. Would be sweet to know what was going through their head after each punch.
