Mohegan Sun is AWESOME as fight viewing venue..one of my favorite places in that regard...they've had HBO there, yes...Paul Williams and Quintana was there...Andy Lee lost to Vera there...Chris Byrd defended the title there...etc...Dirrel W 10 Curtis Stevens there, etc...

now way in hell did ray win 9 out of 12 rounds against hagler. that was a 115-113 either way you flip it. everybody knows you chilled with ray back in the day and stuff, but leggo of your ego----he was a really talented fighter, but not as big of an all time great if you take a look at what he did and didn't do.

Come on, me knowing Ray has NOTHING to do with my view in the least...obviously you have something against him and thats OK, too, but COME ON...this man was a GREAT fighter...G-R-E-A-T...

Interesting statistics on SRLs opponent's win to loss ratio, .979 at the time he fought for those belts. Btw, the win loss added up to 239-5, not 271-5 (Not that it matters because the ratio is still astronomical)

I took the liberty of doing the same for the two most talented WW of the current crop of fighters, FMJ n Pac, for the times they captured div titles and linear titles. He are the results:

FMJ 203-24 (.882) during fights he won 5 weight div titles.
FMJ 121-13 (.893) during fights he won 3 linear titles.

PAC 322-17 (.947) during fights he won 8 weight div titles.
PAC 183-8. (.956) during fights he won 4 linear titles.

As a side note: if we inlude only fights SRL won by either removing SRL v Duran I from the equation or we count SRL v Duran II instead of I the ratio drops to .976 (167-4) and .956 (252-11), respectively.

My bad. I forgot to count Tommy Hearns. 271-5, .982 ratio against that calibre of opposition.
