But, he has truly inspired you to "be a man and fight through anything in life"?

Well, *** me with a telegraph pole.

I don't care if Manny tattooed "Welcome to Texas, and have a lovely day" on Margarito's face for 12 rounds..... Margarito will always be Shane's b1tch.....

That's because you don't understand what it means to be a Mexican fighter. A Mexican Fighter is almost forbidden to quit. It's looked down upon and considered to be a cowardly act. The problem here wasn't Margarito; it was his trainer, Roberto Garcia. Part of the trainer's job is to save the fighter from himself. Roberto should have stopped it in the 8th or 9th round. Because he didn't, Margarito will probably never fight again; or atleast he shouldn't, in my opinion.

I always heard that Mexicans don't like quttiers. How did this tradition come about?

I'll probably get rain-ed on this but:

CHEATER or NOT Margo-c-heato was a warrior last Saturday fight. You can't deny him that! My take on it was, his body/face has already said, "I'm done." But, his heart says keep on fighting till that 12th round bell. That fight was really a great thing to watch for me. I tip off my hat to Margs too! Well done, ese!

Margarito is a Beast. Pacquiao is just a freak! Truth is, neither of these guys ever get the benefit of the doubt from fans for the most part. Unitl this fight, Pac was always been expected to lose because of his small size. And because of plastergate, Margarito doesn't get the credit he really deserves. Case in point, Williams/Martinez are being lavished with praise as top notch fighters, but even though recently Williams said Margarito was a tougher fight for him than Williams and the fact that Marg has a KO win over Martinez (pre-Capetillo), he's not considered in the same league as those guys. I'm positive that if either Williams or Martinez would've stepped into ring the other night with Marg instead of Pacquiao, they would have both been pushed to the brink if not stopped. And that's why Pac is a Freak!

Plasterman is a warrior who is also a proven cheater and blocks with his face. He's a real stand up guy.

Margarito tried to do a bad thing once but I've always liked him and give him the benefit of the doubt on his knowledge of said wraps. And I don't believe he loaded in previous fights. It was a desperate act by a trainer who knew he had a depleted fighter.

The Margarito that we saw last week would have beaten Mosley and maybe everyone else at 147 or thereabouts. I wish him a good recovery and look forward to his future bouts. He's still viable.

As for Pac, he is just a pure phenom. A true all time great type fighter. He runs Mayweather right out of the ring. I don't expect that Mayweather will ever fight him. He knows a bad loss.

                    Quitters

That's a true Mexican fighter. You do not quit!! It's all about a Mexican's pride. Weeks leading up to the fight Margarito made a comment of " I won't quit like deLahoya did". Major respect to Margarito, he's giving his fair share of beatings and this time it was the other way around! They are fighters right? Leave it all in the ring! ORGULLO MEXICANO

Tony is an inspiration to us all. If more people would handle adversity like he does, we'd all be better off.

But most people don't have that kind of character and are usually prone to quitting and dishonor.

Props to Tony a once in a lifetime fighter.
