    Pacquiao VS Mayweather on current form

    For those who like stats
    Manny Pacquiao
    Won 52 (KO 38) + Lost 3 (KO 2) + Drawn 2 = 57
    Rounds boxed 329 KO% 66.67

    Floyd Mayweather
    Won 41 (KO 25) + Lost 0 (KO 0) + Drawn 0 = 41
    Rounds boxed 299 KO% 60.98

    Last 5 years:

    Pacquiao TKO/KO = 6
    Mayweather TKO/KO = 1

    Last fight:
    Mayweather VS Mosely
    Mayweather
    Landed = 208
    Thrown = 477
    Pct. 44%

    Pacquiao VS Margarito
    Pacquiao
    Landed = 474
    Thrown = 1069
    Pct. 44%

    IMO, Pacquiao will be like a swarm of killer bees stinging Mayweather in every angle possible and Mayweather's defensive prowess will not be enough. Combine that with KO power....it's lights out Floyd!!!

          On current form? Pacquiao by devastating KO around 7-9.

            Anyone else think that the fight itself would be..dull? I kind of see it like the unstoppable force vs immovable object. Pacquiao will make more of a fight for Mayweather but you need to keep in mind Manny has fought two fighters (clottey and Margarito) stood infront of them so dont jump on the bandwagon. Im not sure how Manny will land punches when hes fighting someone as elusive as Mayweather.

            ps, im no Paquiao or Mayweather nuthugger.

                to be honest I have it 50-50, and its based on two things, pacquaio ko mayweather inside 4rounds or mayweather survives a sort of beating early and absolutely dominates pacquaio from about the 3rd or so onwards to a unanimous shut out because pacquaio has been figured out and resorts to his usual lunging ways against boxers who fight backing up

                    Though i personally favor Pac to win against floyd, one cannot discount the fact that pac himself has problems with defensive fighters or those with excellent countering skills. And there is no one in the planet more skilled in that department than Floyd.

                    I guess this just all depends on how well Roach prepares a strategy for that fight and how conditioned Pac will be come fight night. (hopefully, he won't allow himself to be as distracted as usual)

                    Also, we cannot also ignore the very strong possibility of the long term damage Pac received fighting larger, stronger boxers.

                    Nonetheless, i still SLIGHTLY favor Pac over Floyd at this point.
