Because, at the time Tito was chasing Roy Jones.. Mosley beat Oscar in 2000, in the same year Tito had all his JMW fights and then move up to 160 in 2001. Just the timing was never right. Tito plan was to fight Hopkins and then move up again to fight Jones.

Then later on Shane was suppose to be Tito come backing fight but lost to Winky and then Tito fought Mayorga, then Shane lost to Winky again. And, Tito fought Winky.

Shane at 154 was never a beast, even at that time he was not a beast at 154. And, if he would of fought Tito lets say in 2001, it would have been at 154. Where Tito arguably at his best. Shane would not have been. Also Shane has never faced a dynamic puncher with both hands like Tito had. Never in his career has he. And, I can see a 154 Shane in 2001 get stopped by Tito.

Timing - all timing. By the time Mosley defeated Oscar, Tito was already up at 154 and prepping for Nando.

Because Shane would have likely KO'd Felix. He has every bit as much punching power, better footwork, and slicker.

How many KO's does Shane have at 154? 2 or 3?

He is not KO'ing Tito and no, he does not have as much punching power with both hands as Tito. And, Shane would of still gotten hit at 154.

If anybody would of gotten stopped it would have been Tito.

Mosley said after the Taylor fight he was trying to fight Tito. But Tito was moving up to 160. He also wished Tito luck and very cool about it. Remember HBO wanted a Jones vs Tito fight bad

Mosley vs Hoya were suppose to rematch though. This was after the Gatti fight. But he moved up to 154 to fight Castillejo. That setup the Vargas fight

Mosley wasnt defensly sound fighter he wouldnt been much of a fight for Tito. Mayweather would do much better against Tito then Mosley. To beet Tito you need three things a good jab, good defense and good footwork. Mosely lacks a jab and defense. Lets put it this way Cotto is a water down version of Tito.

mosley fought a fight or 2 before he fought oscar at welter. so he was around while tito was around. there was a small gap with them able to fight eachother. this is before mosley fought oscar by time he did tito moved to 154. but i think if the fight was proposed mosley would have went up. why wasnt this ever proposed or even talked about
