wins, performance wise. His competition has not been as praised
as himself. It's cool to win your 8th title, but Sergio has been in the
tougher battles and has been impressive even when giving wrong
decisions. Manny fights are already set up and everyone knows
he is going to win. I picked against him because I hoped that
it would be competitive but Pac is far more superior than the guys
that have been put in front of him. Pac popularity wise trumps
Martinez but ol' school fighter wise. Sergio should get his just due.
Wouldn't pick Montiel against them too.
great post. Some fans need to open their eyes

Manny if he wanted to fight Paul Williams, Manny straight
up said "NO". Whos' afraid to fight the best?
really?!? IMO, i would rather have a fighter say "no" then spew lame excuses like "not a ppv draw", "losses on his record", etc.... the truth is pac has no business being in the same ring as p-will... whats next? pavlik? how about kessler???? LOL. margs was the biggest fighter pac fought, any bigger would just be a circus act... i would rather see pac stay at 147, even drop to 140 and dominate these prospects. it would be nice for him to collect some scalps of some undefeated fighters... then retire on top.

Honestly, if you really follow boxing which fight is more worthy of being on PPV, Pac/Margo or P-Will/S-Mart?

Well.... Technically Manny has made ALOT of excuses on why
he shouldn't fight against certain fighters as well. I remember
when Roach said Mosley wasn't a big enough draw for Pac
to fight. Then Roach said that Mosley was too good for a fight
with Pac. Do you think it is ok for Pac not to fight PWill because
of his size and ok for Floyd to fight PWill? Not making a debate
about it but rather asking a valid question. People think Paul
is too big to fight Manny but say Floyd is ducking him? So if
that is the case then, floyd is too good for Pac if people think
Pac should fight Floyd but not PWill, who people want Floyd to
fight. There were plenty of other guys at 154 worthy to fight
Pac for that vacant title but Margarito got it because of Arum's
Political influence. Pac got the spot at 140 for the longest and
hasn't even tried to make a fight with any of the young unbeaten
champions and valid contenders because they don't make sense
money wise. Performance wise, Pac is a beast BUT people can't
possibly say Pac fought the best. Now there are talks about
a fight with Mosley and a 3rd fight with JMM?
