I'd much rather pay for concert tickets than for a boxing fight (as long as it's not a rap concert...NOBODY should pay for those).
Stadiums for boxing. Lets be real,

It could've been a combination of the fight and the venue, but I had more fun with the prefight festivities than at the actual fight for Pac-Clottey. Now I guarantee I would've had more fun seeing this fight live, but I enjoy being around friends and family and just throwing a huge party. I like hearing the commentators break down the fight, and you don't have some knucklehead sitting behind you color commentating for the row like he was Jim Lampley. Of course, there's pros + cons to both, but besides the really big fights, I'd rather just watch on TV.Comment

You have no idea how many people were getting crunk and dancing in the stands when Nelly came out....
I was drunk and dancing like a mofo when he performed.....Comment

Talking **** is part of the fun though........ Now some people do go overboard.... I had to check some old ass white guy for yelling out "Knock the Home Depot out of the motherphucker!!!!".... I just told him "Shut your white ass up with all the bull****....."
But yeah bro... Pac - Clottey would have been boring....
Pac vs Margs.... The MExicans were getting hype in there, along with some cool ass Philipinos......Comment

I've been to many fights in many of arenas but never to a stadium fight. I've sat ringside on a handful of occassions. Its hard to dupplicate the atmosphere. Now a days I'd rather catch it in HD in the comfort of home hanging out with other boxing junkies. Anyway Dodger stadium nor Anahiem has a venue for pro boxing.they f ucking suck for a spectator. Seats are too damn far, especially for the price one pays to watch two guys fight.
I get being a part of the atmosphere, but really, is it better than being in a house with a big screen, better and less expensive beer, a place to smoke herb if you like, better food at a lesser price, no lines for restrooms, etc., etc?
I say no.
Whats your thoughts?Comment

We met some cool ass Mexicans at Pac-Clottey tho. We were chatting with them during the untelevised undercards and they were just praising and praising Pacquiao. Those old guys were real boxing fans. It was fun to see all the different types of people that are fans of boxing.Comment

It truly is the ****.....
• 25,000 square feet – size of the video displays
• 4,920 – number of 52-inch flat panel TVs needed to equal its size
• Three inches – diameter of the steel cables supporting the video boards
• 30 million – number of light bulbs in the displays
• Nearly 11,000 square feet – size of the ribbon video boards circling the inside of the stadiumComment

Was about to make a poll about this in the fantasy fight section. I've never been to a boxing match live. If Margo vs Cotto II does happen in NY probably in MSG, I would like to attend that fight. Let's say Pacman vs. Pretty Boy Floyd does happen in 2011 in Dallas. Where would you guys witness one of the biggest fights of our lifetime? At home or family/ friend's house party or Live at Dallas stadium?Comment
